New Parents Start Here

Before you begin, make sure you have the following documents on hand:

• Student's birth certificate
• Proof of residence (such as a utility bill (gas, electricity, water or lease agreement)
• Parent or legal guardian's identification
• Student's vaccination record
• Student's academic record (most recent report cards from the regular school year or summer school)
• Provide informaiton to registrar.

1. Open your web browser and go to the HISD website: www.houstonisd.org
2. If using a cell phone, open www.houstonisd.org/enroll
3. Click on "Enroll Now"

1. If this is your first time enrolling your child, you will need to create an account.
2. Click on "Create Account"
3. Complete the required information, including your name, email address, and a secure password.
4. Verify your email address by following the instructions sent to your email.
    

1. Log in to the portal with your email address and the password you created.
2. Click on "Login"

1. Select "Start New Enrollment"
2. Complete the form with the student's information.
3. Enter the parent or guardian's information.
4. Upload the required documents (see Step 1).

1. Review all the entered information to ensure it is correct.
2. Click on "Submit"

You can track the status of the enrollment by logging into the portal and selecting "Enrollment Status"
